Time Line Therapy® training will teach you how to remove negative emotions, such as anger, sadness, fear, hurt, and guilt as well as limiting decisions. This assists you in gaining emotional control over your life. Emotional reactions that do not empower you, such as bursts of anger, or sadness and depression, fear, worry and anxiety, or just having a lack of interest, are responsible for stopping people from realizing the excellence they desire. Also, limiting beliefs and decisions, such as "I'm not good enough," or "I'll never have what I want”, or "I don't deserve to have a great relationship” create limitations that obstruct your ability to create the life that you deserve. Time Line Therapy™ techniques enable you to eliminate past obstacles and pave the way to a great future.
We are constantly aware of the concept of time. From the moment the alarm rings in the morning, our life is structured by time. Maybe you have to be at work at a certain time, or maybe the kids have to be to school at a certain time. Or what about that meeting, or the doctor’s appointment, or the vacation that must be planned? Our life revolves around time.
Did you know that psychologically your emotions require "time" in order to express and create their meanings? Emotions are recorded with a “time-stamp” as to when they happened at the unconscious level. Your unconscious also knows the difference between a past memory and a “memory” that is projected into the future. These various “time-stamps” form a “Time Line”.
The easiest examples are anxiety and guilt. Anxiety is an emotion of the future, and guilt is an emotion of the past. It is very difficult (if not impossible) to feel guilty about something that has not yet occurred that you have control over. Also, it is very difficult to feel anxious about something that has already occurred that turned out the way you wanted it to.
So how do we do the emotion of anxiety? Well, we think about something that has not happened yet turning out badly in the future. Oh by the way, when we think about that thing turning out badly in the present we call that worry. And that worry is based on something that happened in the past that we don’t want to happen again. That emotion in the past is called fear.
In 1985, a therapeutic process was created by Tad James, M.S., Ph.D. that utilizes your unconscious storage of memory and emotions. Since all change takes place at an unconscious level, the Time Line Therapy™ process works at the unconscious level to remove the blocks that prevent you from doing and having what you want.
